While viewing the latest galleries on morcstars.com, I realized they were a pain to browse because you kept having to go back to the thumbnail page after every image. Not any more. I added a plugin to the site called lightbox. So now when you click on an image it appears on top of the thumbnail page and automatically resizes to fit your screen. Now you can just click on the picture to go to the next one, use the forward/backward arrows on the right and left edges of the image, or even use the forward/backward arrows on your keyboard....

The Stars longtime equipment manager, Richard Whitlock passed away last week. Richard started helping out the Stars shortly after the program began in 2007. An avid hockey player himself, Richard enjoyed every minute he spent at the rink and made sure every player had skates that fit and a jersey with his or her name. He will be missed by everyone. We kicked off our 4th season on October 9th with 43 players on the roster and in just 2 weeks we’ve added 14 more! Check out our current roster for all of our new additions! To accommodate our growing team Livonia Hockey Association donated another 1/2 hour of ice time for a total of 1 1/2 hours on Saturdays. Also, Great Lakes Sports City in Fraser has donated 1 1/2 hours of ice time every Sunday. The MORC Stars recently returned from their first trip to the USA Disabled Hockey Festival. This years Festival, the 5th annual, was held the weekend of March 20-22 in Buffalo, NY.
